Jay Douglas and the All-Stars is one of the most versatile groups in the city, playing anything from Jazz to R&B, Ballads to Reggae. Jay himself is a dynamic singer with a captivating stage presence. He has performed in Asia and Europe, and has been a featured performer at international hotel resort chains such as the Sheraton Hilton, Ramada and Holiday Inns. He has performed at Roy Thompson Hall and has been a headliner at the Canadian National Exhibition. He has appeared on network TV both in the USA and Canada. Jay Douglas has shared the stage with major stars including R&B legends Fats Dominoe, Joe Tex, Percy Sledge, Fred Payne, Dorothy Moore, blues man Roscoe Gordon, soul stylists the Manhattans, Peaches & Herb, jazz guitarist Ernest Ranglin, Toots & the Maytels, The Mighty Sparrow, and well known Canadian actor and comedian Jim Carrey.
